Alumni Profile: Elena Ricci

Last year, 2010 NESOP graduate Elena Ricci relocated to New Orleans where she now belongs to a four-woman photography collective, Southerly Gold.

Elena was recently a part of the Louisiana Contemporary Exhibit at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and will be participating in the 7th Annual PhotoNOLA festival along with the other members of Southerly Gold.

Elena is currently working on several personal projects while finding her niche in the New Orleans photographic community. In addition to her personal projects, she has been commissioned for her fine art work as well her corporate photography by clients including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

2nd Year NESOP Student, Yorgos Efthymiadis‘ photo has been selected for the Semi-Final round in the Photography category of the 2012 Adobe® Design Achievement Awards!

“The Adobe® Design Achievement Awards celebrate student and faculty achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. The competition – which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading Adobe creative software – honors the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, developers and computer artists from the world’s top institutions of higher education.”
